PromptsThat Kill™
Be there when it goes live.
A party card game where one player reads out a ridiculous question a human asked a machine, and everyone else answers as the machine: confident, helpful and completely wrong.
The kill list
Hear about it first
One email when the Kickstarter opens, and a heads-up before it does. Playtest calls and new cards in between. Nothing else, ever, and the list is never sold.
The Machine will confirm your enlistment personally. It has been waiting.
What you are signing up for
Three real rounds
A human asks. The machine answers. The Judge picks the one that kills. Every card here is in the box.
The other answers in that first hand were “It is supposed to do that. Eventually.” and “That is within tolerance. Barely. Stop shaking it.”. Choosing between them is the whole game.
Before the Kickstarter
Play it tonight, free
A complete 213-card deck is free to print — the real game, not a demo. Play it with four people this weekend and you will know by the third round whether you want the box.
The short version
When is the Kickstarter?
Autumn 2026 is the plan, with delivery in 2027. The list is told before it goes public.
What is in the box?
601 cards: the prompts, the responses, and the two card types that are ours alone — Save Us and Hallucination.
Do I need an app, or any AI?
No. It is paper on purpose: no app, no internet, no machines at the table. That is the joke and the point.
Who is it for?
17+. Adult and older-teen humour, four to six players at its best, thirty to ninety minutes.
